Vygotsky called this the Zone of Proximal Development, and it is an idea I cling to and believe has some of the greatest potential in the contemporary classroom that can make students increase their understanding and learning of any subject
With all of that said, lets be honest, some of our kids have limits, whether they are social or cognitive the will rear their heads to impede their learning.
